First we're told not to drink the milk. It's poison, they say. Now, apparently, we aren't to be drinking the water, either? Believe me when I say that my childhood isn't something I was particularly happy to return to. Not at all.

Were you able to discover anything about the Smiths that could come in handy?

They probably weren't. It's a shame how many children have to live with parents who think....they're just never good enough...

Loyalty, shmoyalty. I never made any promises to them I didn't intend to keep. I told them I'd find a way out of Mayfield. I'm finding one. Whether or not they're able to make it with me is their problem. Not mine.
