Well, that was probably the worst way to come off of a droning ever. Those of you who are still awake, you'll probably hear the Riddler rummaging about in the refrigerator. He finally emerges from it with a small bag of frozen peas, which he'll be placing over that black eye of his.]

Looks like Edward's gotten a package while he was out of it. Peeking into the box, he can see a bit of leather... It's a familiar violet catsuit, complete with a long tail, a mask with whiskers and ears, and a 12-foot long whip. No. No, there's no way they would seriously send this to him. Is this Mayfield's idea of a joke?]

Here's a question for you, Mayfield.

Answer: Time. Strange how it doesn't seem to fly at all when you've been droned. One second, it's the middle of July, then before you even realize it, it's August. What all have I missed, hmm? Any theories on what they'll throw at us this month?

Got any ideas for which houses? Worst comes to worst, mine can be one. It's mainly drones with me otherwise so I don't have too many people who could get in the way, and I can set defenses up around the house pretty quickly.

Interestingly enough, I arrived last August. That was the month they had first opened the Post Office, as I recall. Plenty of people had been running through the streets with missing appendages and limbs.

[This earns Edward an even wider smirk than Schuldig's usual.] I thought you knew me well enough by now, Edward, to know that I'll taunt anybody I damn well feel like, under any circumstances. You've held a gun to my head before, and it certainly didn't stop me.

But if you actually intended to hit me with it, you're welcome to try. [Whips are fast, and even Schuldig couldn't hope to dodge one...but that only goes so far as a whip in motion. Edward still has to crack the thing before it works up any sort of speed, and that moment before the whip actually flies is enough time for Schuldig to dodge. Besides, Edward would also have to move into range first, so he's quite comfortably confident that he's not going to get hit without forewarning.]
